Lactation program
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a community where breastfeeding is the normal infant feeding choice of all families. We believe every baby deserves to be breastfed and every mother deserves the support she needs to breastfeed.
Our People
Our Program is a continuation of a program that was well established in Dubai Health Authority (DHA). The program is managed and run by experienced people in the field of the lactation, who saw a need to update the health care professionals’ knowledge, understanding and their practice in the field of human lactation.
Our graduates
Since the years the program has been running in DHA, Many professionals have graduated from the program and have successfully completed the course. Many of these are currently working both in DHA and all over the Emirates as successful lactation consultants (IBCLC) in hospitals, health centers and private clinics.
Quality Education
We are currently the only lactation education training program running in the UAE. We are proud the excellent reputation this program has earned over the past years. We hope to grow the number of health care professionals who are certified as lactation consultants by the IBCLCE. We hope all mothers all over the United Arab Emirates would have an access to a supportive and knowledgeable health care professional.
Our Speakers
Our speakers are health care professionals currently working in their areas of expertise i.e. hospitals, health centers, clinics all over the UAE. Most of the speakers are recertified lactation consultants and are committed to providing high quality evidence based lactation education.
